Identifying the Most Effective Geosite Evaluation Models in Iran Using Delphi and Analytic Hierarchy Process Methods

Abstract Despite the large amount of information, including books, articles and pristine images geotourism, there exists no comprehensive study on collection classification them in Iran yet. In this research, for modelling geosite watersheds, 1000 were surveyed through library research models with highest frequency use identified analysed among a statistical sample 451 local papers using Meta-Analysis method, then most efficient ones Delphi Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) methods. The results showed that while strengths, weaknesses, opportunities threats (SWOT), Pralong, Reynard, AHP Pereira are first to fifth-ranked frequency, however, SWOT, Perira Comanescu considered as Iran.
